Seed of Sadness is a Melodic Metal band from Greece. The band joined in February 2011 The current line up is: Stellaria - Vocals Jimmy Nore - Guitars Mike G - Bass Johny K - Drums In less than a year they have written 10 songs. They choose 5 of them for their first work, Seed of Sadness EP 2012 that was released at 07/09/12 (Featuring Bob Katsionis Firewind/Outloud). Stellaria studied at Musicians Institute Macedonia, Greece. Since 2004 she is performing in various blues, jazz, soul, funk, latin, pop bands in Nothern Greece. Jimmy Nore is a well known Shredder in their region, performing flawless covers of famous guitar players such as Steve Vai, Andy James etc. He is also the composer and lyricist of all their songs. Mike G studied at Musicians institute Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Since 2005 he is teaching music to young students. Johny k is a virtuoso drummer from Xanthi who studied under the famous Greek teacher Anastasiadis. He is performing countless lives every year. At the moment Seed of Sadness is in search for a label to sign with.

ACT I" is Tarja's first solo live audio and video product in her rock outfit. The main content was filmed and recorded on two show nights this March 2012 in Rosario, Argentina, at the Teatro El Círculo. The video products include plenty of extras -- video and photo material.
With the elaborate track listing and its extras, "ACT I" provides the full-fledged bill of fare to either Tarja fan. The track listing consists of Tarja's greatest solo tracks, Nightwish classics as well as some cover versions, such as Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom Of The Opera" and marvellous Gary Moore's "Over The Hills and Far Away" -- or to make it short: a unique blend of music selection. The set up of these HD filmed concerts meant an incredible extra work and effort in the live production - with an impressive result, but also an emotional rollercoaster-ride. Says Turunen: "those two nights in Rosario were a huge emotional drive to me personally." The artist herself admits, she "was many times ready to burst into tears."

This is the band's first ever official video in their 27 year-long history and was entirely filmed and edited in Sao Paulo, Brazil, during Exumer's South American Damnation tour in early 2012. Director: Rodney Christófaro.
Vocalist Mem V. Stein comments: "The idea behind the clip was to showcase the band's intense relationship with our Brazilian fans in a live situation and the disparities that are still present in one of the fastest growing economies in the world. We chose the song "Fire & Damnation" because its vibe is quite universal, where you don't have look to religion or elsewhere to find damnation here on earth. Ultimately, the clip is a "thank you" to all our fans in South America and around the world as we always try to relate to them in an honest and very real way."

Here's a long drum solo from June 2012. I tried to include lots of different vibes, like complex stuff you have to count to follow and simple grooves where playing melodic fills was required. All and all, I had so much fun that the world disappeared while trying new moves and playing drums. Thanks to Riccardo and Jacopo for toting me around Italy and to Roberto for putting on this particular drum clinic.

Multi-national thrashers NIGHTRAGE have tapped Snowy Shaw(THERION, KING DIAMOND, DREAM EVIL, DIMMU BORGIR) to sit behind the kit for their August 26 concert in South Korea. Snowy will be filling in for regular NIGHTRAGE drummer Johan Nunez, who has been busy touring and recording with FIREWIND. NIGHTRAGE states, "We are honored to have [Snowy] behind the drums!"

An amazing night in Poland. "Break The Silence" was produced by Dave Eringa, mastermind behind artists such as The Manic Street Preachers and Ocean Colour Scene. The collaboration resulted in a perfect balance between a modern approach and a vintage Energy, flirting with the times of The Stooges or early Stones. The perfect sonic dress for GUN´s inspired and versatile songwriting. Not just another exercise in nostalgia, but an album that "had to be made", featuring songs that were too good not to be heard. GUN fans will certainly agree it was worth the wait: the eleven songs forming the new album remind of some of the greatest rock albums. No fillers, power, energy, refined and rough at the same time.

Dorothee Pesch (born 3 June 1964, Düsseldorf, Germany), popularly known as Doro Pesch or Doro, is a female rock vocalist, formerly of the German heavy metal band Warlock .
After Warlock went through many line-up changes, Pesch was left the only remaining original member of the band. Because of legal issues with their former management about the ownership and trademark on the Warlock name, she was compelled to release under the name Doro what would have been the fifth album of the band. Pesch now pursues a solo career and lives in New York City. The 2004 album Classic Diamonds was a collaboration with The Classic Night Orchestra, which reworked some of her earlier songs. Her latest album is Fear No Evil, which was released in 2009.
