Greek Female Fronted Metal Band Seed of Sadness has released their forst work !!!

BIO

Seed of Sadness is a Melodic Metal band from Greece.
The band joined in February 2011 

The current line up is:
Stellaria - Vocals
Jimmy Nore - Guitars
Mike G - Bass
Johny K - Drums

In less than a year they have written 10 songs. They choose 5 of them for their first work, 
Seed of Sadness EP 2012 that was released at 07/09/12 (Featuring Bob Katsionis Firewind/Outloud).

Stellaria studied at Musicians Institute Macedonia, Greece. Since 2004 she is performing in various blues,
jazz, soul, funk, latin, pop bands in Nothern Greece.
Jimmy Nore is a well known Shredder in their region, performing flawless covers of famous guitar 
players such as Steve Vai, Andy James etc. He is also the composer and lyricist of all their songs.
Mike G studied at Musicians institute Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Since 2005 he is teaching music to young students.
Johny k is a virtuoso drummer from Xanthi who studied under the famous Greek teacher Anastasiadis. 
He is performing countless lives every year.

At the moment Seed of Sadness is in search for a label to sign with.

Ex-DEATH Vocalist KAM LEE Joins Forces With Former OBITUARY Guitarist ALLEN WEST

Former MANTAS,  DEATH  and MASSACRE vocalist  Kam Lee has joined forces with ex-OBITUARY/SIX FEET UNDER guitarist Allen West
 in a brand new death metal band called CORPSE ROT.

Regarding how the name of the group was chosen, Kam said, "Believe it or not, this name has not been used [by any other band before]. (Note: This statement appears to be inaccurate. — Ed.) How is that even possible? And how I came up with the name… I was joking with Allen. I'm like, 'Allen, I'm kind of known for the song 'Corpse Grinder'. You're kind of famously known for 'Slowly We Rot'. Let's just put the two together and see if there's a fucking band with that name. Nah, there's no band with that name."

TESTAMENT: New Album Title Revealed; Tour With ANTHRAX, OVERKILL, DEATH ANGEL Planned

an Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans TESTAMENT have set "The Dark Roots Of Earth" as the title of their new album, tentatively due in October via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD is currently being recorded with British producer Andy Sneap, who has previously worked withMEGADETH, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE and MACHINE HEAD, among others.

Due to a "serious injury," drummer Paul Bostaph was unable to take part in the new CD recordings but will rejoin TESTAMENT for future touring activities. Playing drums on the follow-up to 2008's "The Formation Of Damnation" is Gene "The Atomic Clock" Hoglan (ex-DARK ANGEL, ex-STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, FEAR FACTORY, DETHKLOK), with LAMB OF GOD's Chris Adler set to make a special guest appearance on a couple of bonus tracks.

BEHEMOTH Frontman Rumored To Have Signed On For Polish Version Of 'The Voice'

According to the Polish tabloid Fakt, guitarist/vocalist Adam "Nergal" Darski of Polish extreme metal veterans BEHEMOTH has signed on to be a judge on Poland’s version of the hit American singing competition "The Voice", appropriately named "The Voice Of Poland".

Although Nergal's participation in the show has not yet been confirmed, it is being reported in the Polish media that the producers of "The Voice Of Poland" are hoping that Nergal's presence on the program will attract a new audience as well as improve its chances of competing against rival television talent-show franchise "X Factor".

The American version of "The Voice" was a big hit for NBC and helped breathe new life into the careers of coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.
